My baby… Family’s leisure time…

What kind of human they are???? Lepas abang dia sampai pantai, siap dengan soalan lagi orang yang tengok tu tanya… Ko pilipin kah??? So what? Are they not deserve to be save???

Cakap mesra pelanggan... What a &*%^*)@%! I am sorry... I was just too angry because of what has happened...

Sya sngt terkejut setelah mengetahui berita ini… No wonder sya hairan napa gf sya tdk call sya sepanjang satu hari… Ini pula yang terjadi… Sampai skrng baby sya masih dalam keadaan trauma… Walau apapun, Thanks to God for His Mercy and Love… Without His Mercy and Love, I might be (I don’t know what to say)… Alleluya… Praise be to God… Amen.

Mungkin ini disebabkan oleh stress kerja, busy, and so on.

Puji Tuhan! Alleluyah...!

The moral of the story is...Love your gf/bf/wife/husband with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul. God love us with all His heart and that is why He sent His Beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ so that we can reunite with Him in His Kingdom through His Son.
From happy
moments to tearful thoughts, love conquers all. It is one emotion that shines in
all eyes for all ages.
True love is like ghosts, which everyone talks about but few have seen.

Love is the master key which opens the gates of happiness.
Love is the delusion that one woman differs from another.
Love makes everything lovely.

Love is a canvas furnished by nature and embroidered by imagination.
Love is friendship caught on fire.
True love will never fade unless it was all a lie.
Love teaches even asses to dance.
Your love as gone before me,
And it has grown with me,
And it is an abyss whose depths I cannot fathom…
LISTEN! GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU
(Here are variety of scripture texts that speak of God’s love. In each is a blank space for your name.

After quieting yourself and turning your attention to God, begin to pray one of these verses softly, aloud if possible, inserting your name in the blank space.

Hear God say the words to you personally. Receive the love that God is giving you.)

“I have loved you …… with an everlasting love, so I am constant in my affection for you.” (Jer. 31:3)

“I am holding you by the right hand, ……, I tell you. ‘Do not be afraid, I will help you.’” (Is. 41:13)

“……, before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” (Jer. 1:5)

“I have called you by name, …… and you are mine.” (Is. 43:1)

“Does a woman forget her baby at the breast, or fail to cherish the son of her womb? Yet even if these forget, I will never forget you,……” (Is.49:15)

“As the Father has loved me, so I have you, ……” (Jn. 15:9)

“You are precious in my eyes, ……, you are honoured and I love you.” (Is.43:4)

“See, ……, I have branded you on the palm of my hands.” (Is.49:16)

“I am with you to save you, ……” (Jer. 30:11)

“You do not choose Me, ……, no, I choose you.” (Jn. 15:16)

“Come to Me, all you …… that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you …… rest.” (Mt. 11:28)

“Take my yoke upon you, ……, and learn from Me: for I am gentle and humble of heart, …… and you will find rest for your souls.” (Mt. 11:29)

“Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me, and let the one …… who believes in Me drink. Now, He said this about the Spirit, which believers in Him were to receive.” (Jn. 7:37-39)

RESPONE
(When you have listened to God telling you His love for you through the words of scripture and pondered over the great love of God to you and your heart is overflowing with gratitude and love for God, you will want to respond to God by telling Him how much you love Him too.

You can do so either using the words that overflow from your heart or use the following)

O my God, how can I thank you for your great love for me?
I love you with all my heart, and want to love You more and more.
Fill my heart with love of You.
I believe in Your love for me.
I hope and place all my trust in You.
You are so good! Help me to be a better person and to be more like You.
I surrender myself to You. Make me more and more like You.
Since You want me to love my neighbor, fill my heart with love for my neighbor.
Help me to be meek and gentle like Jesus.
Make me compassionate as You, Father.MosePAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02356517649928250060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6873156104001058359.post-85176333585189040542010-02-02T17:06:00.000+08:002010-09-07T02:53:06.995+08:00We want God to change our circumstances but God use Circumstances to change usHow often do we pray and ask God to change us to be a better person in our life? Everyday? Day and night? I guess so... But do we ever ask and pray to God like this "God, give us not what we want but what you know we need" and "If this is your will, then let your will be done and not us"?

To share with all of you, I used to pray and ask God to transform me or to change me to be a holy men, to be a pure children of God, the one who will follow God's Commandment fully and commit no sin anymore. But the more I pray in this way, the more worst I be... Today, the weekly wisdom open up my mind that the way I used to pray is not correct and it is not according to God's way. Praise be to God! Alleluia for starting this day, I will pray and thanks to God for what He has done into my life... Alleluia!!! Be the light that shine for all so that they will praise your Heavenly Father. Amen.MosePAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02356517649928250060noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6873156104001058359.post-5971919111630679112010-01-09T18:38:00.000+08:002010-09-07T03:00:11.454+08:00Confident People Do Not Get ConfusedI found by chance this article the other day:

Prophet Muhammad’s Promise to Christians

The document is not a modern human rights treaty but even thought it was penned in 628 A.D. it clearly protects the right to property, freedom of religion, freedom of work, and security of the person, says Muqtedar Khan.

Muslims and Christians together constitute over fifty percent of the world and if they lived in peace, we will be half way to world peace. One small step that we can take towards fostering Muslim-Christian harmony is to tell and retell positive stories and abstain from mutual demonization.

In this article I propose to remind both Muslims and Christians about a promise that Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) made to Christians. The knowledge of this promise can have enormous impact on Muslim conduct towards Christians. Muslims generally respect the precedent of their Prophet and try to practice it in their lives.

In 628 AD, a delegation from St. Catherine’s Monastery came to Prophet Muhammed and requested his protection. He responded by granting them a charter of rights, which I reproduce below in its entirety. St. Catherine’s Monastery is located at the foot of Mt. Sinai and is the world’s oldest monastery. It possesses a huge collection of Christian manuscripts, second only to the Vatican, and is a world heritage site. It also boasts the oldest collection of Christian icons. It is a treasure house of Christian history that has remained safe for 1400 years under Muslim protection.

The Promise to St. Catherine:

"This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.
Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by God! I hold out against anything that displeases them.
No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses.
Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.
No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.
No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world)."

The first and the final sentence of the charter are critical. They make the promise eternal and universal. Muhammed asserts that Muslims are with Christians near and far straight away rejecting any future attempts to limit the promise to St. Catherine alone. By ordering Muslims to obey it until the Day of Judgment the charter again undermines any future attempts to revoke the privileges. These rights are inalienable. Muhammed declared Christians, all of them, as his allies and he equated ill treatment of Christians with violating God’s covenant.

A remarkable aspect of the charter is that it imposes no conditions on Christians for enjoying its privileges. It is enough that they are Christians. They are not required to alter their beliefs, they do not have to make any payments and they do not have any obligations. This is a charter of rights without any duties!

The document is not a modern human rights treaty but even thought it was penned in 628 A.D. it clearly protects the right to property, freedom of religion, freedom of work, and security of the person.

I know most readers, must be thinking so what? Well the answer is simple. Those who seek to foster discord among Muslims and Christians focus on issues that divide and emphasize areas of conflict. But when resources such as Muhammad’s promise to Christians are invoked and highlighted it builds bridges. It inspires Muslims to rise above communal intolerance and engenders good will in Christians who might be nursing fear of Islam or Muslims.

When I look at Islamic sources, I find in them unprecedented examples of religious tolerance and inclusiveness. They make me want to become a better person. I think the capacity to seek good and do good inheres in all of us. When we subdue this predisposition towards the good, we deny our fundamental humanity. In this holiday season, I hope all of us can find time to look for something positive and worthy of appreciation in the values, cultures and histories of other peoples.

Dr. Muqtedar Khan is Director of Islamic Studies at the University of Delaware and a fellow of the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, when that delegation from St Catherine's monastery came to meet with Prophet Mohamad (pbuh), I suppose it's fair to assume that they spoke Arabic to one another. And when they were conversing, surely the word 'God' must have come up. As in "May God Be With You" and such like. What word did the Prophet (pbuh) use for 'God' I wonder? And what did the St Catherinians use in return? For monotheists like them, was there a 'your God' and 'my God' type of situation, or did they understand that they were both talking about the same One?

While some idiots are mourning over the 'loss' of the word 'Allah' and therefore basically telling the world that they are people easily confused by nomenclature, and others are predicting riots over what is basically a 'copyright' issue, let me define what I think a confident Muslim should be:

1. A confident Muslim is unfazed by the issue of God's name. God speaks to all of humankind in the Quran and never said that only Muslims could call him by the name Allah.

2. A confident Muslim has 99 names to choose from to describe that One God. My favourites are Ar-Rahman (The All-Compassionate) and Ar-Rahim (The All-Merciful).

3. A confident Muslim never gets confused over which is his/her religion and which is other people's. For instance, a confident Muslim knows exactly what the first chapter of the Quran is. And it's not the Lord's Prayer.

4. A confident Muslim will not walk into a church, hear a liturgy in Malay or Arabic where they use the word 'Allah' and then think that he or she is in a mosque. A confident Muslim knows the difference.

5. A confident Muslim is generous, inclusive and doesn't think that his or her brethren is made exclusive through the use of a single language. The confident Muslim is well aware that in the Middle East, all services of ANY religion are in Arabic because that's what they all speak.

6. A confident Muslim knows the basis of his/her faith are the five pillars of Islam and will not be shaken just because other people call God by the same name.

7. A Muslim believes in only One God. Therefore it makes sense that other people should call God by the same name because there is no other God.

ART THOU NOT aware that it is God whose limit less glory all [creatures] that are in the heavens and on earth extol, even the birds as they spread out their wings? Each [of them] knows indeed how to pray unto Him and to glorify Him; and God has full knowledge of all that they do:(Surah Nour, Verse 41) (Asad)

So I would ask those people demonstrating against the Court decision, have you no pride? Are you saying you're easily confused?

And before anyone says I have no qualifications to say these things, read what Dr Asri Zainal Abidin (who does have qualifications no matter what JAIS says) has written about this very subject here.

And here's something interesting. In 2007, the Majlis Agama Negeri Perlis, which is a large majlis filled with people very learned in Islamic religious knowledge, discussed the question of the use of 'Allah' by non-Muslims. Their unanimous decision? They issued a fatwa to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with non-Muslims using the word at all.(This was told to me by Dr. Asri but I cannot find the fatwa anywhere online because all the religious departments' websites are so useless.)

Are we now going to excommunicate the whole of Perlis?

I was born on July 16, 1949 in Kerala, India , to myparents, Joseph and Theresa Maniyangat. I am the eldest of seven children:Jose, Mary, Theresa, Lissama, Zachariah, Valsa and Tom.

At the age of fourteen, I entered St. Mary's Minor Seminaryin Thiruvalla to begin my studies for the priesthood. Four years later, I wentto St. Joseph 's Pontifical Major Seminary in Alwaye, Kerala to continue mypriestly formation. After completing the seven years of Philosophy andTheology, I was ordained a priest on January 1, 1975 to serve as a missionaryat the Diocese of Thiruvalla.

In 1978, while teaching at the St. Thomas Minor Seminary in Bathery, I becamean active member of the Charismatic Renewal Movement and began conductingcharismatic retreats and conferences in Kerala.

On Sunday, April 14, 1985, the Feast of the Divine Mercy, Iwas going to celebrate Mass at a mission church in the north part of Kerala, and I had a fatal accident. I was riding a motorcycle when I was hit head-on bya jeep driven by a man who was intoxicated after a Hindu festival. I was rushedto a hospital about 35 miles away.

On the way, my soul came out from my body and I experienced death. Immediately,I met my Guardian Angel. I saw my body and the people who were carrying me tothe hospital. I heard them crying and praying for me. At this time, my angeltold me: 'I am going to take you to Heaven, the Lord wants to meet you and talkwith you'. He also said that on the way, he wanted to show me Hell andPurgatory.

First, the angel escorted me to Hell. It was an awful sight!I saw Satan and the devils, an unquenchable fire of about 2,000 Fahrenheitdegrees, worms crawling, people screaming and fighting, others being torturedby demons. The angel told me that all these sufferings were due to unrepentedmortal sins. Then, I understood that there are seven degrees of suffering orlevels according to the number and kinds of mortal sins committed in theirearthly lives. The souls looked very ugly, cruel and horrific. It was afearful experience. I saw people whom I knew but I am not allowed to revealtheir identities.

The sins that convicted them were mainly abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia, hatefulness, unforgiveness and sacrilege. The angeltold me that if they had repented, they would have avoided Hell and goneinstead to Purgatory. I also understood that some people who repent from thesesins might be purified on earth through their sufferings. This way, they can avoidPurgatory and go straight to Heaven. I was surprised when I saw in Hell evenpriests and bishops, some of whom I never expected to see. Many of them werethere because they had misled the people with false teaching and bad example.

After the visit to Hell, my Guardian angel escorted me toPurgatory. Here too, there are seven degrees of suffering and unquenchablefire. But it is far less intense than Hell and there was neither quarrellingnor fighting. The main suffering of these souls is their separation from God.Some of those who are in Purgatory committed numerous mortal sins, but theywere reconciled with God before their death.

Even though these souls are suffering, they enjoy peace andthe knowledge that on day they will see God face to face. I had a chance tocommunicate with the souls in Purgatory. They asked me to pray for them and totell the people to pray for them as well, so they can go to Heavenquickly. When we pray for these souls we will receive their gratitudethrough their prayers and once they enter Heaven, their prayers become evenmore meritorious.

It is difficult for me to describe how beautiful my GuardianAngel is. He is radiant and bright. He is my constant companion and helps me inall my ministries, especially my Healing Ministry. I experience his presenceeverywhere I go and I am grateful for his protection in my daily life.

Next, my angel escorted me to Heaven, passing through a bigdazzling white tunnel. I never experienced this much peace and joy in my life. Then immediately, Heaven opened up and I heard the most delightful music, whichI never heard before. The angels were singing and praising God. I saw all thesaints, especially the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph , and many dedicated holybishops and priests who were shining like stars.

And when I appeared before the Lord, Jesus told me: 'I wantyou to go back to the world. In your second life, you will be an instrument ofpeace and healing to my people. You will walk in a foreign land and you willspeak in a foreign tongue. Everything is possible for you with my grace'. Afterthese words, the Blessed Mother told me: 'Do whatever He tells you. I will helpyou in your ministries.'

Words cannot express the beauty of Heaven. There, we find somuch peace and happiness, which exceed a million times our imagination. OurLord is far more beautiful than any image can convey. His face is radiant andluminous and more beautiful than a thousand rising suns. The pictures we see inthe world are only a shadow of His magnificence The Blessed Mother was next toJesus - She was so beautiful and radiant. None of the images we see in thisworld can compare with Her real beauty. Heaven is our real home, we are allcreated to reach heaven and enjoy God forever.

Then, I came back to the world with my angel. While my bodywas at the hospital, the doctor completed all examinations and I was pronounceddead. The cause of death was bleeding. My family was notified and since theywere far away, the hospital staff decided to move my dead body to the morgue..Because the hospital did not have air conditioners, they were concerned thatthe body would decompose quickly.

As they were moving my dead body to the morgue, my soulreturned to the body. I felt an excruciating pain because of so many wounds andbroken bones. I began to scream and then the people became frightened and ranaway screaming. One of them approached the doctor and said, 'The dead body isscreaming.' The doctor came to examine the body and found that I was alive. Sohe said, 'Father is alive, it is a miracle, take him back to the hospital.'

Now, back at the hospital, they gave me blood transfusionsand I was taken to surgery to repair the broken bones. They worked on my lowerjaw, ribs, pelvic bone, wrists, and right leg. After two months, I was releasedfrom the hospital, but my orthopedic doctor said that I would never walk again.I then said to him, 'The Lord who gave me my life back and sent me back to theworld will heal me'.

Once at home, we were all praying for a miracle. Still aftera month and with the casts removed, I was not able to move. But one day, whilepraying, I felt an extraordinary pain in my pelvic area. After a short while, the pain disappeared com pletely and I heard a voice saying, 'You are healed.Get up and walk'.

I felt the peace and healing power on my body. I immediatelygot up and walked. I praised and thanked God for the miracle. I reached mydoctor with the news of my healing and he was amazed. He said, 'Your God is thetrue God. I must follow your God.' The doctor was Hindu and he asked me toteach him about our Church. After studying the faith, I baptized him and hebecame a Catholic.

Following the message from my Guardian Angel, I came to theUnited States on November 10, 1986, as a Missionary Priest. First, I worked inthe Diocese of Boise , Idaho from 1987 to 1989 and then became the Director ofPrison Ministry in the Diocese of Orlando , Florida from 1989 to1992. In 1992,I came to the Diocese of St. Augustine , where I was first assigned to St. Matthew'sParish in Jacksonville for two years. I was then appointed Parochial Vicar ofAssumption Church from 1994 to 1999.

In 1997, I was incardinated as a permanent member of theDiocese. Since June 1999, I have been Pastor of St. Mary's Mother of MercyCatholic Church in MacClenny , Florida . I also serve as the Catholic Chaplainfor Florida State Prison in Starke, Union Correctional Institution in Raifordand Northeast Florida State Hospital in MacClenny. I am also the DiocesanSpiritual Director of the Legion of Mary.

On the first Saturday of each month, I conduct a Eucharisticand Charismatic- Healing Ministry in my Parish, St. Mary Mother of Mercy.People come from all over the diocese, many parts of Florida and even from outof the state. I have been invited to conduct the Healing Ministry in othermajor cities of the United States, including New York, Philadelphia, WashingtonDC, San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, Birmingham, Denver, Boise, Idaho Falls, Ontario,Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Poolesville and many other countries - Ireland, Spain,Czech Republic, India, France, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Italy, Canada, Mexico,Cayman Island, Hawaiian Islands.

Through this Eucharistic- Healing Ministry, I have seen manypeople healed physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally. People withvarious illnesses, such as cancer, AIDs, arthritis, heart conditions, eyeproblems, emphysema, asthma, back pains, bad hearing and many others have beenhealed completely.

In addition, several times during the year, I conduct a special healing servicefor the healing of the Family Tree, in which the effects from ancestral sinsare blocked and the person receives complete healing. Scripture says that theeffects from family sins can linger around for three to five generations (ExodusChapter 34, Verse 7). So, in many cases, we need generational healing. Doctorsand medicines do not help to heal certain sicknesses caused by our family tree.

During the Healing Ministry, many people rest in the spiritbefore the Blessed Sacrament and some experience renewal of the soul andhealing of the body.MosePAhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02356517649928250060noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6873156104001058359.post-50067188103817516622008-10-18T12:58:00.000+08:002010-09-07T03:33:28.593+08:00Have Faith in God through His Beloved Son, Lord Jesus ChristThe Difference between Science and God

"Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ." The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

"You're a Christian, aren't you, son?"

"Yes sir," the student says.

"So you believe in God?"

"Absolutely."

"Is God good?"

"Sure! God's good."

"Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?"

"Yes."

"Are you good or evil?"

"The Bible says I'm evil."

The professor grins knowingly. "Aha!The Bible!" He considers for amoment.

"Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?"

"Yes sir, I would."

"So you're good...!"

"I wouldn't say that."

"But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't."

The student does not answer, so the professor continues. "He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, eventhough he prayed to Jesus to heal him How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?"

The student remains silent.

"No, you can't, can you?" the professor says. He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

"Let's start again, young fella Is God good?"

"Er...yes," the student says.

"Is Satan good?"

The student doesn't hesitate on this one. "No."

"Then where does Satan come from?"

The student : "From...God..."

"That's right. God made Satan, didn'the? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?"

"Yes, sir."

"Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything, correct?"

"Yes."

"So who created evil?" The professor continued, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil."

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues:"Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?"

The student: "Yes."

"So who created them?"

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. "Who created them? There is still no answer. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom. The class is mesmerized.

"Tell me," he continues onto another student. "Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?"

The student's voice is confident: "Yes, professor, I do."

The old man stops pacing. "Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?"

"No sir. I've never seen Him"

"Then tell us if you've ever heard yourJesus?"

"No, sir, I have not."

"Have you ever actually felt yourJesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?"

"No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't."

"Yet you still believe in him?"

"Yes."

"According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?"

"Nothing," the student replies. "I only have my faith."

"Yes, faith," the professor repeats.. "And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith."

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own. "Professor, is there such thing as heat?"

"Yes," the professor replies. "There's heat."

"And is there such a thing as cold?"

"Yes, son, there's cold too."

"No sir, there isn't."

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested. The room suddenly becomes very quiet. The student begins to explain.

"You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat,mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458F) is the total absence of heat. You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence ofheat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it."

Silence across the room. A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

"What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?"

"Yes," the professor replies with out hesitation. "What is night if it isn't darkness?"

"You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, brightlight, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have Nothing and it's called darkness, isn'tit? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?"

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him. This will be a good semester. "So what point are you making, young man?"

"Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed."

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time."Flawed? Can you explain how?"

"You are working on the premise of duality," the student explains. "You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain athought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, muchless fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it."

"Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?"

"If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do"

"Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?"

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

"Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but apreacher?"

The class is in uproar. The student remains silent until the Commotion has subsided.

"To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean."

The student looks around the room. "Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?" The class breaks out in to laughter.

"Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?"

Now the room is silent. The profess or just stares at the student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers. "I guess you'll have to take them on faith."

"Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life," the student continues. "Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?"

Now uncertain, the professorresponds, "Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, aword that man has created to describe the absence of God.

God did not create evil.. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
